Transworld 2019 Recap

We had an awesome time in St. Louis at the 2019 Halloween trade show.   The art department, build crew and marketing department all converged for several days.  This year show was impressive with many new vendors and haunted attractions I've never heard of.  That says alot about the state of the haunted house industry as it must be growing!  A entire new section for Christmas was added alongside the Halloween Trade Show.  We have done Christmas before as a hayride, but once it gets cold in NC no one showed up.  We have an eye on a drive through show and are just waiting on the right time to invest in another attraction. 

It's always a great time to see our friends in the business and getting energized for another haunting season creating the scariest haunted house in nc.  The focus for us this year was efficiency and getting our staff into character, so we invested in make up innovations to speed up the process.  Controlling the environments in our themed sets got a huge boost in technology this season to help automate the lighting, audio and fog.   A major challenge the last several years has been keeping enough staff on hand, so just like many other industries we are forced to find solutions.   We purchased some really awesome scary props for our photo op as you enter the Spookywoods haunted attraction.  I can't wait for you guys to see what we have in store for Spookywoods 2019, it's got a ton of new sets and characters for you to experience.
